The ride today was shorter then the past two days but I had my most enjoyable miles thus far today even though I met with my first rain somewhere along the way today.
Point form is so much easier:-
- I configured the GPS to avoid all Interstate roads and thus ended up taking a more scenic route and then even took a detour into some fun twisty parts!
- Because of the more scenic route taken the photos from the front of the bike are much better today -- I'll list them below.
- I stumbled into the most amazing "structure" in the middle of a field just outside Toronto, tall with golden balls at the top, it really was impressive.
- The word "Ontario" must be an Indian word for "place with lots of lakes" since at every corner here there is another lake to be seen. (Actually means beautiful lake).
- My GPS Snitch keeps reporting logged off messages which is worrying me, I don't want to loose my location data!
- The moto is rough changing from 1st to 2nd under load, I don't recall it being this rough, must be the additional weight on the bike. Also, I'm getting a small amount of exhaust build-up around the indicator lens cover as if the bike is running rich on fuel -- worrisome.
- I found a lakeside cottage to stay at and they appear to rent out boats which is sounding pretty good right now.
- The lakeside lodge has no internet connection and no mobile reception and I thus used a payphone for the first time in years!
