Real-time OnAMoto location updates

Yes really, the above is a real-time updating map of me and my moto location as I cross the US from NYC to SF. How's it done? That's kinda a long story but very briefly:-

1x Blackline GPS Snitch (check 'em out, great product!)
Some code I wrote to pull in the GPS data and drop it into a database.
Some more code to render the data in a variety of formats including in KML format.
Use of Google Maps API to slurp up my KML.

Round the world on a Gyrocopter - Realtime GPS tracking

This guy (http://www.gyroxgoesglobal.com/) has decided to fly his gyrocopter around the world and to track himself in real time is using the SPOT GPS system which is really very cool.
